Mayor and City Council
Mayor
Nancy T. Camp
was elected Mayor of Elkton in
November 2006 and took office January 1, 2007. She retired after many
years of service at Elkton Bank and Trust Company. She also served many
years on the Elkton City Council. She attended Western Kentucky University
and Hopkinsville Community College. Nancy was married to Bobby Hall Camp
(deceased) and has one daughter and son-in-law and one granddaughter.

concerning the City of Elkton. Doug Gibson is a lifelong resident of Todd County. He has worked at the concrete plant in Elkton for 45 years under three different owners, most recently Irving Materials (IMI). Doug is married to Sue Gibson and has two daughters and the proud grandfather of three handsome grandsons. Mr. Gibson serves as the Street Department liason. Eugene
Jefferson
has served on the Elkton City Council
for twenty-two years. He has been employed at Emerson
Electric for 37 years. Mr. Jefferson serves as the Police
Department liaison. Danny O. Laster has been a local insurance agent with American General for many years. He is married with two grown children and four grandchildren. He has lived in Elkton for 35 years. Mr. Laster serves as the Utility Department liaison.E-mail: papebear718@yahoo.com David Powell
is a life long resident of Todd County and currently resides on Howard Circle
with his wife Sue and two children Melanie and Taylor. He has worked at Logan
Aluminum for the past 11 years. Mr. Powell serves as the Fire Department
liaison. Cindy Sidebottom
is serving her first term on the city council. She is a medical
technologist at Gateway Hospital in Clarksville, Tennessee. Cindy is
married to Brian Sidebottom and has one daughter,
Grace Elizabeth. She is the cemetery liaison and welcomes all concerns and
comments on the cemetery. Cindy resides at 407 South Main Street and can
be reached at 265-2109 or by e-mail. Jimmy Scott was recently elected to the City Council to fill the temporary appointment of Robin Snardon. Jimmy represents the city on the Recreation Commission.
