Introducing the staff at Elkton City Hall!

The staff at Elkton City Hall is always prepared to help with any concern's of the citizens or others.  Do not hesitate to give us a call with any questions.

  
Laura Brock, City Clerk/Treasurer
, began working with the City part-time in May 1997.  Laura was hired full-time in August 1997 and was appointed City Clerk/Treasurer in May 1998.  Some duties of the City Clerk/ Treasurer include maintenance and safekeeping of the permanent records of the city; keeping a true and full record of all proceedings of the City Council; presents financial reports of the City to the City Council; responsible for preparation of property tax bills; oversees all taxes and licenses imposed by the City. Laura received her Certification as a Kentucky Municipal Clerk in 2001. Patsy Wheeler, Utilities Clerk, began working part-time for the City in January 1999.  In May 1999, Patsy was hired full-time as Utilities Clerk.  Utilities Clerk is responsible for preparing monthly utility bills which includes working with the Utility Department reading and processing monthly meter readings; maintaining utility department files and data; also assists City Clerk in various duties for the City.  Patsy received her Certification as a Kentucky Municipal Clerk in 2002.
